Coaching provides empathy, practical support, and encouragement as you change your relationship with alcohol or quit drinking. My practice incorporates recovery coaching techniques alongside the wisdom I gained through Brene Brown's Daring Way Certification.
RECOVERY DOESN'T HAVE TO BE CRISIS CARE.
We can become mindful about our relationships with alcohol at any time. You are welcome regardless of where you are on the journey.
SHAME RESILIENCE IS KEY.
Shame fuels our desire to escape through alcohol and it will never help us heal. Our work together will help you exit the shame cycle.
YOU CAN TRUST YOURSELF.
I'm here to support, share wisdom out of my experience and training, and make suggestions, but you're always the expert on you.
We ALL need to COPE.
We all face challenges worthy of our coping. Through coaching, we will de-stigmatize the need to cope. You'll never get to a place where you don't need to cope, but coaching will help you change how you cope.
I'm conscious of the role trauma plays in how we cope and I'm sensitive to how it can affect our minds, bodies, and souls. In our time together, I will use skills learned through trauma informed facilitator training, chaplaincy, crisis intervention training, and more to support you. You are always empowered to care for yourself.
"This wonderful human being 100% kept me sober in so many of the early days on her soulful recovery calls."
WHY COACHING WORKS
We keep our goals achievable, because it's vitally important that our work together be motivational.
Meeting weekly means our coaching addresses the week to week realities of your life, which is how we change our drinking.
Everything is wisdom. If you fall short on a goal that isn't failure - it teaches us more about your motivations, which helps us adapt goals to continue your forward movement.
Each week we set goals to keep you on track, but goals are full of grace. Accountability just keeps us intentional and mindful.
30 minutes per week
Coach with me 30 minutes per week. Perfect for a review of the past week, check-in about goals, and setting new goals for the week.
1 HOUR PER WEEK
Coach with me 1 hour per week. This option is ideal for verbal processors who want to review the past week, check-in about goals, set new goals for the week, and express the emotions coming up for them through the process.
